One day I was waiting in line for the blue slide at "Splash Station". I waited and waited for what felt like forever. Soon I saw my mom and dad, so I excitedly waved. A few minutes later the guy behind me thought he was going to pass out because of how high we were. There were still 14 people in front of me, so I waited some more. It felt like an hour, but ten minutes later it was
finally my turn.
I grabbed the medal bar, crossed my feet and down the slide I went. I don't know how fast I was going, but it was FAST, so fast that I went upside down in the tube and kept spinning. For a minute, I thought I was going through a portal until my adventure started coming to an end when I saw the light. I flew through that tube at so fast a speed I thought I would hit the wall and break my legs. But Nope, I didn't. I was so excited I wanted to run back up the stairs and do it all over again, but Mom said it was time to go home for now.
A few days later, we went back to "Splash Station" and I saw that the blue slide was closed. When I asked a lifeguard why it was closed. She said "People were hitting the end and breaking their legs." Wow..that is what I thought would happen to me.
